Both the President's & Dean's Lists were announced on Thursday, February 9, 2023. A total of 838 students were named; 239 to the President's List and 539 to the Dean's List.

The Occupational Therapy program at ������Ƶ has recently been accepted by the American Occupational Therapy Association as a Gold Level member of the AOTA’s Student Membership Circle.

������Ƶ has been named one of the top 100 universities to pursue an online bachelor’s degree in business. According to U.S. News and World Report, the university ranks 79th in its list of "Best Online Bachelor’s in Business Programs."

The Institute for Energy at ������Ƶ recently earned the Lodestar Award by the Pennsylvania Solar Center in recognition of its investment in clean and renewable solar energy.

This past athletic season has been deemed historic at ������Ƶ. For the first time in Red Flash history, all five Fall teams competed in Northeast Conference (NEC) postseason play after their respective 2022 season with one team clinching an NEC championship title.

������Ƶ has been awarded a $1 million grant by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) to launch an Aviation Maintenance Technician School. The new Aviation Maintenance Technician School will be sited at the John Murtha Johnstown Cambria County Airport and will offer a 14 CFR 147-certified training curriculum for Aviation Maintenance Technicians.

In its annual list, Forbes ranked colleges and universities in the U.S. based on the return on investment and outcomes top schools delivered for their students. According to Forbes, their methodology highlighted schools whose students graduated on time, secured high salaries and low debt; and went on to have successful careers. Washington Monthly recently released its annual 2022 College Guide with ������Ƶ landing on three distinction lists: #23 Best Bang for the Buck in the Northeast #19 Top 200 Master's Universities Best Colleges for Student Voting Honor Roll Since 2005, the Washington Monthly has ranked colleges based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories: social mobility, research, and promoting public service.

SFU has once again made the prestigious cut as one of the “Best Regional Universities" in the North and this time around, the university holds a new recognition, “Top Performer in Social Mobility,” from the nationally known college ranking publication.
